They are based on an antique waxer in my collection.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e They are hand-engraved on one face with a delicate design of a honey-bee and with a matching bee skep on the other. The central shaft of the solid silver structure unscrews to allow a specially-made wax block with a central hole to be inserted.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The wax can thus be replaced when required. Further wax blocks can be bought \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/jennyadin-christieembroidery.com\/product\/replacement-wax-block\"\u003ehere\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Please note that the small waxer pictured measures 13mm diameter and 6mm depth, and this design will fit inside the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/jennyadin-christieembroidery.com\/product\/the-blue-wren-etui\"\u003eBlue Wren Étui. \u003c\/a\u003eThe slightly larger size is 22mm diameter x 8mm depth.
