The puffins are such delightful birds with their gentle disposition, comedic\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003eactivities,\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eand lack of any fear of humans.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s10\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003eI worked the original piece as a gift for my Dad’s 80\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s7\"\u003eth\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eand my Mum’s 70\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s7\"\u003eth\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s7\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003ebirthdays.  I very much hope you will enjoy creating your own wee Hebridean puffin!\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s10\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003eThe design incorporates a wide variety of techniques and materials worked on a base of Italian linen. The border is worked in Or\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003eNué\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e(or shading over couched gold). The puffin uses cut metal purls, pearl purls, couching, silk gimp and silk shading, with sequins.
