This is outlined using wire covered with a buttonhole stitch. (Don’t worry about the painting – no skill is required to achieve a beautiful and realistic effect.) The centre of the flower is based around a selection of wooden forms hand-turned by my father for this project.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Some are covered by wrapping, others with needlelace.
