The highlight of this trip for me was the visit to\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003eSamode\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ePalace near Jaipur.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s5\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003eWe arrived at night to the sight of the palace lit with candles and fireworks, accompanied by drummers, musicians, dancers and a few camels! It is a magical place and sums up the grandeur and beauty of Rajasthani architecture.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s5\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003eWithin the palace is an incredible hall and room of mirrors where every surface is embellished with mirror glass, mosaics of precious jewels and exquisite painted murals, set within sculptured cartouche friezes painted in the most stunning yellow.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s5\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003eThe structure of the bag itself is based on a tiny 17\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s6\"\u003eth\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ecentury purse in my collection. It is designed to hold needlework or other keepsakes.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s5\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003eThe embroidered panel is centred around a red rose, a flower which appears throughout Indian art and remains important within Indian culture as a symbol of love, prosperity and happiness.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s5\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003eThe design is worked in a wonderful mix of rich colours and textures including metal threads, silk gimps, fettuccini ribbon, spangles and beads.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s5\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s4\"\u003eThe kit includes all the threads, pre-printed fabrics, needles and construction materials required to complete the bag, together with comprehensive illustrated instructions.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp class=\"s5\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s7\"\u003ePlease note: the fabric for the reverse of the bag is provided plain.
