A large panel celebrating 100 years of the school’s life and ethos, set against its beautiful rural setting of the Derbyshire Dales.

The panel is surmounted with hand-etched glass depicting the words which summed up the school for the Headmaster and which set the brief for the design.

When we were looking for a lasting artwork to commemorate one hundred years on The Green Road site it seemed natural to ask one of our most distinguished recent alumni to create it. Jenny’s imaginative design encapsulated those characteristics and people which have made QEGS a great school.
