Description
These miniature sterling silver waxers are created by my talented friend, silversmith and clockmaker Adam Mills. They are based on an antique waxer in my collection. They are hand-engraved on one face with a delicate design of a honey-bee and with a matching bee skep on the other.
The central shaft of the solid silver structure unscrews to allow a specially-made wax block with a central hole to be inserted. The wax can thus be replaced when required. Further wax blocks can be bought here.
Please note that the small waxer pictured measures 13mm diameter and 6mm depth, and this design will fit inside the Blue Wren Étui. The slightly larger size is 22mm diameter x 8mm depth.
Waxers are supplied in a gift box.
PLEASE NOTE: these waxers are made and engraved after ordering and can take several weeks to produce. If you need the waxer, or other items within your order, for a certain date, please advise us of this in the notes box when checking out.
