**VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Unfortunately the website is still closed and will be until further notice whilst we continue to deal with family issues. Whilst the website's been closed our website developer decided that it was a perfect opportunity to deal with all the logistical problems we've been having. She decided the best option was to build a brand new website to resolve these problems. Hopefully it won't be much longer to wait and we look forward to welcoming you back to the new and improved Jenny Adin-Christie Embroidery shop. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience and understanding. See you all very soon. Jenny and the team.

Description

There is something beautifully elegant about an oval and it is a design shape I go back to many times. These exquisite boxes in Sapele with a lift-off lid were designed by my father and are made in the depths of Cornwall by my talented cabinet-maker, Peter Blomfield. These make a beautiful and unique way to display your embroidery. They include UV filtered ‘Waterwhite’ museum glass, pre-cut conservation grade mount board for mounting your completed work, and conservation card spacers to lift the glass.

These fit the Hampton Court Sampler design.

The images shown provide as accurate an impression as possible of the colour and texture of the wood/s from which these items are made. However, please be aware that each item will be unique in its grain and patterning.

Box Dimensions: 21.5 cm length, 15 cm wide, 8 cm high.

Dimensions of oval aperture: 17.3 cm long x 11.2 cm wide.

    Jenny,
You sure know where to find superior craftsmen. This lovely box is so richly finished. It is so smooth it feels like silk. So fine! Send my regards to Peter for his passion and his attention to detail.
Thank you Jenny for the unique ways you find to display needlework. No longer is a frame the only way to show off our work.
