Picture Frame for Blackwell Roundel

Description

These picture frames are made specifically to fit my designs by my colleague and professional picture framer, Lyn Hall of ‘Fringe Arts.’ They allow you to enjoy mounting and framing your work at home without the expense of using a professional framer.

They include: ‘TruVue’ conservation grade clear glass with 99% UV protection, conservation grade mount board ready to mount your work, conservation grade mount board spacers to lift the glass from the work and fittings/hanging cord. They also include a double round window mount in ivory and burgundy to complement the design of the Blackwell Roundel. Inside the frames are 2 hidden window mounts of foam core board, which allow the finished work to be sandwiched between these and therefore suspended in the frame with space behind, creating a greater sense of depth. A pink tone back board sits behind to provide a hint of colour through the finished work.

Instructions for mounting your work in this fashion are provided with the frame.

Available in a choice of colours:

• Antique Gold leaf (on Ayous wood)
• Natural wax finish (on Obeche wood, a warm pale wood which has the appearance of beech)
• Dark wood finish (on Obeche wood, gives the depth of colour of mahogany)

Frame measures: 21 x 21 cm, 3.5 cm deep

The frames include a double round window mount in ivory and burgundy. Round aperture measures: 11 x  11 cm

The images shown provide as accurate an impression as possible of the colour and texture of the wood/s from which these items are made. However, please be aware that each item will be unique in its grain and patterning.
