These special frames have been created to display the Honesty and Eryngium designs which are worked on silk organza. The contain two equally-sized window mounts of foam core board hidden beneath the decorative ivory double window mount. The sheer embroidery is trapped and mounted between these two foam core windows whilst still taut in the embroidery hoop. This is a very effective way to instantly mount the work without releasing the frame beforehand and causing distortion. Once mounted, the hoop is removed, the excess fabric trimmed and the work placed neatly into the frame with a blue back board behind. The foam core windows also lift the work away from the back board, giving the piece a feeling of being suspended over a void and therefore creating a lovely sense of depth. Full instructions on how to frame in this way are provided.
