Designed and made with love by my Uncle Rowl, cabinet-maker extraordinaire, these beautiful floor stands are the ultimate support for your embroidery hoop when working hands-free (always the best way to stitch). The stand unscrews at the centre and base, breaking down into four equal length pieces which can be packed neatly into the drawstring fabric bag provided, for ease of storage and transportation to classes and holidays.

Superbly sturdy and hard-wearing, the stand allows you to sit at a good working height, ensuring comfort over long periods of stitching. The stem of your hoop sits neatly into the slot at the top and is secured at the height desired by the strong wooden screw.

An optional central insert section can be ordered for those needing greater height or greater flexibility of height when working from different seats. Turned from best quality Polimier Beech, with two coats of hard-wearing satin lacquer.

Height of stand when constructed 67cm; maximum length of each of the four stand components 33cm. The images shown provide as accurate an impression as possible of the colour and texture of the wood/s from which these items are made.

Wow this is a lovely piece of kit! Thankyou so much Jenny for such quick delivery. It’s simple to put together and it looks great, not clumsy, in fact it has a lovely delicate look, and made superbly. I put it together and attached my hoop and it’s just perfect for working. I am so pleased with this and would highly recommend it. I sold all my other hoop gadgets and so it didn’t cost me too much … it is a lot of money to find but believe me you get what you pay for. Thanks to the talented maker. I already have a Lowry stand with a couple of Jenny’s slate frames … beautiful set up for all my stitching now, very pleased.

I recently purchased this beautiful handmade wooden floor stand. This is an impressive item with an exquisite finish. The floor stand was quick and easy to assemble and the moment I held it in my hands I knew I had made the right choice. As a needleworker and multi crafter, I appreciate the hours of labour involved in creating a handmade piece of this quality. In addition, the customer service was excellent and I was kept informed of the status of my order which arrived within a week, amid severe postal disruptions and snowy weather. An added bonus is how wonderful the floor stand looks in my stitching spot and because it is so slender and compact, it takes up very little space. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this floor stand.

I ordered this stand with the extra part to change height and I am so delighted with it. The parts are beautifully made to fit together and the finish 'screams quality'. I can wholeheartedly recommend this stand, both Elbesee and Hardwicke Hoops fit into the stand so well. Late last year I bought a set of Jenny's bound Elbesee hoops and they are a treat in themselves. Whoever goes on to buy this stand will not regret the purchase at all. The stand really deserves 5+ rating.

I am delighted with this lovely embroidery floor stand which I recently purchased. It is extremely well made with polished wood and you can adjust it to suit your needs. It is very stable and folds down into a good size for travelling. All the Elbessee frames fit into it which is brilliant. A well worth investment!

This stand is WONDERFUL!! It is a really good height for working without discomfort. You can place it very close to you if you need your work quite close because of your vision. It is lightweight so it is easy to move around and when it is not in use, it stores nicely. I love it!!
