Ceremonial Gloves for Alderman Timothy Hailes
Alderman Timothy Hailes commissioned two pairs of white kid gloves to be finely embroidered with his coat of arms in silk and the finest of English-made metal threads.
Jenny was a joy to work with and provided a totally professional service. The gloves which she produced drew gasps of delight from the many judges and other City figures present. The Glovers’ Livery were truly delighted in the artistry and quality of Jenny’s workmanship.

These were for ceremonial use in his role as Aldermanic Sheriff of The City of London. The gloves were constructed by Chester Jefferies of Dorset. I adore this intricate work which requires ultimate precision on unforgiving fine white leather!
