The Lace Panels for the Wedding Dress of the Duchess of Cambridge (2011, applied lace on silk tulle)

I played a key role in the Royal School of Needlework Studio team who were commissioned to work the applied lace panels for the dress, train, veil and shoes of this, one of the most famous wedding dresses of all time!

An utterly magical experience whose story will stay locked away for the prescribed 30 years but in the meantime will have to remain a treasured memory. Since then I have had further commissions for pieces for Alexander McQueen, including couture wedding dress panels and embroidered bodices for the catwalk.
