This 93-page book is a celebration of the work of famed Parisian silk thread manufacturer, Au Ver à Soie, over their 200-year history. The book tells the history of the company in French and English with accompanying photographs. It then provides 30 projects from 22 artists, covering 11 nationalities, all of whom love to use Au Ver a Soie products in their work, including Annie Penin, Trish Burr, Mary Corbet, Susan O’Connor and Jane Nicholas. Instruction from English-speaking tutors is provided in English whereas the text is French only from French tutors.

The book includes instruction for my ‘Miniature Needlelace Lavender Hearts’ which can be created as a keeper for scissors or keys etc.

All profits from the sales of the book are being donated to charity l’ Etoile de Martin which carries out research into children’s cancers and supports families caring for children with cancer.
