**VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Unfortunately the website is still closed and will be until further notice whilst we continue to deal with family issues. Whilst the website's been closed our website developer decided that it was a perfect opportunity to deal with all the logistical problems we've been having. She decided the best option was to build a brand new website to resolve these problems. Hopefully it won't be much longer to wait and we look forward to welcoming you back to the new and improved Jenny Adin-Christie Embroidery shop. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience and understanding. See you all very soon. Jenny and the team.

Description

This 93-page book is a celebration of the work of famed Parisian silk thread manufacturer, Au Ver à Soie, over their 200-year history. The book tells the history of the company in French and English with accompanying photographs. It then provides 30 projects from 22 artists, covering 11 nationalities, all of whom love to use Au Ver a Soie products in their work, including Annie Penin, Trish Burr, Mary Corbet, Susan O’Connor and Jane Nicholas. Instruction from English-speaking tutors is provided in English whereas the text is French only from French tutors.

The book includes instruction for my ‘Miniature Needlelace Lavender Hearts’ which can be created as a keeper for scissors or keys etc.

All profits from the sales of the book are being donated to charity l’ Etoile de Martin which carries out research into children’s cancers and supports families caring for children with cancer.
