Description
Made exclusively for me in Dorset by the talented Caroline Barnes. Each piece is hand-made from porcelain clay, glazed and then decorated using platinum and coloured decals created from Caroline’s illustrations and photographs, inspired by vintage prints, botanical drawings and beach finds from nearby Lyme Regis.
The magnetic attachment at the reverse allows you to attach the minder securely to the fabric in your frame or hoop and hold your spare needles and pins in place as you work.

I succumbed to this little temptation very easily, mostly because I’m a sucker for birds and I love beautiful embroidery tools!
These are delicate and pretty! I thought that the finish would be a little more matte – kind of like a chalky porcelain – but in fact, it’s shinier than in the photos, I think from a protective coating over the image. It’s beautiful, and it works! What more could you want?
These are a perfect gift, by the way, for any needleworker in your life!
