Brass Thread Waxers

Description

These delightful little veneered brass waxers are based on an antique waxer in my collection.  The central shaft unscrews to allow removal and replacement of the block of wax, which we make to fit.  Both ends are decorated with beautiful discs of either mother-of-pearl or abalone shell, or with inlaid wood.  Designed and made in Cornwall by my super-talented cabinet-maker Peter Blomfield.
