Description
These lovely scissors are made in France and have a smooth lobed tip to one blade. This protective tip can slide between layers of fabric where you wish to cut and remove the upper layer but leave the hidden layer below intact, such in Carrickmacross lace, shadow appliqué, or reverse appliqué.
I have tried many pairs of such lace scissors over the years, but these are the finest and most precise I have discovered. They allow you to work extremely intricate designs.
Scissors measure 8.9 x 4.1cm, blades 2.5cm and lobe 2mm
