Description

This dense, heavy weight and natural coloured (minimum 85% pure wool) padding is superb for creating sculptured forms for techniques such as metal thread and goldwork, stumpwork and appliqué.

Design shapes can be cut using scissors or a craft knife and then applied with square edges or sculptured into rounded forms by chamfering. Layers can be applied on top of each other to achieve even greater height.

This is an equivalent to ‘carpet felt’ padding often referred to in goldwork and is much nicer to handle!

Each cut piece measures 30 x 21cm (A4) and 1cm deep.
