Description

The Brown Wren and her Australian cousin will stand happily on their own feet, but you might wish to embroider a Mossy Hillock for them, and purchase a hand-turned wooden base in sheesham, designed by my father as a device to support the hillock. These can include a hand-made brass mechanism with a cotton tape measure (in inches) which is retracted using the brass turning wheel, thus completing your étui with a further essential embroidery tool.

If you prefer, you can purchase the hand-turned base without the tape measure and winding mechanism.

A tiny pair of gold étui scissors are also available for purchase, and a glass dome to keep your Wren free from dust.
