Hand-Turned Stiletto

(2 customer reviews)

Out of stock

Designed and made by my father in finest stainless steel, these beautiful stilettos are used principally for making eyelets in whitework. They do not tarnish and therefore don’t discolour your snowy whitework. The tri-faced handle allows for a comfortable grip, and the handle weight and length provides excellent balance and control. Includes a hanging loop for a keeper or ribbon; an heirloom tool for your workbox.

The stiletto is designed to work eyelets up to a maximum of 0.5cm. Any eyelet worked larger than this will require the fabric to be cut as well as opened with a stiletto. Length 7cm, max diameter 0.5cm

Absolutely perfect stiletto / laying tool. I use it as a laying tool almost daily – it fits perfectly in the fingers, the short length gives excellent control, it’s perfectly weighted and perfectly smooth. I’m in love with this little tool ! Beautiful craftsmanship!

A beautifully made tool that fits the hand so well and looks absolutely ‘fit for purpose’. I am s-o-o-o looking forward to setting it to work in my embroidery expeditions. Thank you Jenny… and your father for his workmanship.
