Di Rosa in Rosa/Rose to Rose is the latest book from Elisabetta Sforza, author of In a Wheatfield, A Flower Alphabet and A Sea to Stitch, this time focusing on the floral watercolours of Patrizia Silingardi.   There are two lift-out pattern sheets of the watercolours which are used as models for Elisabetta’s embroideries.  The text is in Italian and English.  There are 14 decorative drawings of scrolls and garlands, plus a whole alphabet of roses so you can create your own designs for use on table linens, clothing or simply as embroideries.  There are simple instructions for embroidering the pieces with basic stitches.
