Hand-made Inlaid Thread Waxers

Description

These delightful little brass and wooden waxers are based on an antique waxer in my collection. The central shaft unscrews to allow removal and replacement of the block of wax which we make to fit. Both ends are decorated with a beautiful inlaid design with a background of sapele, and inlay in sycamore, satinwood and mother of pearl. Designed and made in Cornwall by my talented cabinet-maker Peter Blomfield.
